Each year nearly 250,000 American women are diagnosed with breast cancer. One out of every eight women will be diagnosed with this debilitating disease in her lifetime. In fact, breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women. At Charity for Women, we believe that this dreadful disease can be stopped and we are dedicated to raising money to help find a cure.

How We Raise Funds
Charity for Women raises money to support educational programs for women that teach the importance of early detection of breast cancer. Funds are raised through three primary sources: contributions, corporate sponsorships, and fashion shows.
Contributions
Charity for Women is a recognized 501(c)(3) corporation. As such, individuals may contribute funds to Charity for Women and count those funds as tax deductible. Corporate Sponsors
Charity for Women accepts contributions from companies as well. Corporate donors may participate in our Corporate Sponsorship Program. The “Roll Call” fundraiser was a huge success!!

We asked you for your support for our friend and long-time Hooters employee Kelly-Jo Dowd and we got!!. The fundraiser held on Friday, August 26, 2005 held off a hurricane threat more
